The first pears of the season were at the Market along with Earligold & Williams Pride apples. New varieties of plums, nectarines, white peaches, delicata squash, and seedless sugar baby watermelons were also available.

Pepper varieties are abundant now. More potatoes are starting to come on, and we’re seeing leeks, collards, and lettuces starting to come back. There are still plenty of tomatoes, zucchini and other squashes (including winter squashes now), beans, eggplant, onions, garlic, chard, kale, beets, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, cantaloupe, and cut flowers.

Lick Ice Cream had a new Peach & Thai Basil flavor last week and Tulip Tree Creamery plans to have a limited amount of burrata this Saturday. Byrne’s Grilled Pizza is bringing back their IN-Corn-Nation Pizza for one week only. Farm to Product had a new Indiana Sweet Heat bowl with cantaloupe, blueberries, honey, and cayenne. See all the specials at the Market this week here.

The BRVA (Broad Ripple Village Association) will be joining us this week with information about upcoming events and activities in the community.

Baby Goat Yoga is happening again at the Market. Come a little early to sign up, or pre-register at the Eventbrite site. The yoga session starts at 9 am.

It’s Week #2 of the month so we have ARPO (Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership), Batch No. 2, Groomsville Popcorn, Hickory Valley Farms, Primal Delights, and Red Frazier Bison with us this Saturday.

Brotgarten is out again this week. Dickinson Custom Woodworking is back this week — welcome back Bill!

Happy National Farmers Market Week!
