Founded in 2011, Hoods & Hops is the only car show serving the Broad Ripple area, attracting more than 100 cars and craft beers.  The annual event moves to Broad Ripple Park this year and becomes part of the Broad Ripple Carnival.

The Car Show will take place on Sunday, August 12, the last day of the big Carnival, from noon to 4 pm. There is no admission fee for spectators. Each event attendee votes for his or her favorite car. The car with the most votes wins the Best in Show trophy.  The event is family-friendly, so bring the kids and dogs! Craft beer (from Broad Ripple Brewpub and other local favorites), and commemorative t-shirts will be for sale.

You don’t need to have a “show car” to participate; unique, old, and interesting cars are all welcome too! Car owners just need to show up day of the event and pay a $20 entry fee. For more information about participating, see the Hoods & Hops event site.

Proceeds from Hoods & Hops are donated to the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA), a non-profit focused on enriching the community, attracting investment, amplifying public spaces, and improving the quality of life in Broad Ripple.
