Unique squashes and cucumbers at Nujac Gardens.

Earligold plums, Valdosta strawberries, Roma beans, and Grex beets were showstoppers last week. Two more vendors brought peaches and we saw both sweet and tart cherries as well as little seedless watermelons.

You’ll find heirloom tomatoes, zucchini and other squash, green beans, cucumbers, corn, eggplant, okra, beets, carrots, potatoes, lettuce, chard, kale, watermelon, cantaloupe, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, apples, and more this Saturday.

Don’t forget that berries and cherries have a short season at the Market, so get them and enjoy them while you can. They’d be awfully good on top of pancakes, waffles, or even ice cream!

The BRVA (Broad Ripple Village Association) will join us this week with information about the upcoming Sidewalk Sale, and next month’s Broad Ripple Carnival.

It’s Week #4 of the month, so we have ARPO (Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership), Batch No. 2, Burton’s Maplewood Farm, Circle City Smoke, Groomsville Popcorn, and Primal Delights with us this Saturday.

Farm to Product is out this week while Anna is out of town, but Roamers Plant Power will be taking her spot with delicious plant-based raw foods.
