Last Saturday was the last week for matching grant funds to support the Fresh Bucks Program, part of SNAP at markets around the state. The program provided double benefits when recipients used their benefits to buy produce.
When they learned about the end of that program, Erin and Emily, the organizers of Baby Goat Yoga, decided to give back to the Market. They are donating a portion of the proceeds from the yoga sessions to help us keep Fresh Bucks going at the BRFM.
Join them this Saturday at 9 am for 45 minutes of Vinyasa yoga and delightful interaction with Caprini’s baby goats. You’ll be helping to provide healthy food for those in need in our community. Then shop the Market afterwards for fresh local food for your own healthy table!
