Visitors to the Market got a look at the Broad Ripple Park Master Plan last week. More vendors had strawberries, but there were also plenty of greens, radishes, carrots, beets, spinach, asparagus, and rhubarb. Tomatoes, cucumbers, and summer squash are becoming more plentiful.
This Saturday we are looking forward to Spring Locust Honey at Wildflower Ridge Honey and Queen Anne’s Lace (soft creamy cheese) at Tulip Tree Creamery.
Baby Goat Yoga is back this week! Here is a link to the event page where you can find a waiver and purchase your spot ahead of time if you wish.
Boulevard Place Food Pantry will be at the Market to raise awareness about feeding the hungry in our community. And the BRVA will be back to promote the Broad Ripple Canal Duck Race.
Red Frazier Bison will be making their monthly appearance at the Market with lean healthy bison meat. And Nujac Garden joins us for the first time in 2018.
This is Xchocol’Art’s last market until September (chocolate doesn’t do well in extreme heat) so stock up! They’ll have lots of different truffles and special treats for Father’s Day.
Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood will NOT be with us this week as they are switching to the 3rd week for this month and next and trading with Hickory Valley Farms which WILL be with us this Saturday.
Because it is Week #2 of the month, we also have ARPO (Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership), Batch No. 2, Circle City Smoke, Groomsville Popcorn, and Primal Delights with us.
Dickinson Custom Woodworking and Me and Dippy McGee are back this week after being out last week. Brotgarten is out again – having oven issues. The Daily Blossom will be out this week and next and back on the 23rd.
