What was new? Our vendors donated 10% of their sales to Operation USA for Hurricane Relief in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico. In addition, we had fall radishes gone wild, pumpkins galore, mums-a-bloomin’, Brussels sprouts stalks; and new varieties of apples, pears, and potatoes!

  • Full Hand Farm had beautiful black, watermelon, daikon, and Easter egg radishes.
  • Multicolor and white and purple daikons were also at Funny Bone Farm along with French breakfast radishes.
  • Weathered Plow had lovely red radishes plus stalks full of Brussels sprouts, beautiful mums, broccoli, cauliflower, okra, turnips, and ground cherries.
  • Big pots of mums were available at Compean & Sons too, along with boxes of multicolored cauliflower, pumpkins, gourds, green beans, eggplant, and 4 varieties of apples.
  • Funny Bone Farm had purple and white cauliflower and big beautiful broccoli, while Earthly Delights also had cauliflower and broccoli as well as sweet potatoes.
  • Sweet potatoes were at Annabelles Garden. They also had 3 types of grapes, Bartlett and Bosc pears, chicken-of-the-woods mushrooms, and fingerling potatoes.
  • Freedom Valley Farm had Papa Cocho fingerlings, along with Blue Majesty and German Gold potatoes.
  • Potatoes were also at Norman Mullet Farm plus salad turnips, Napa cabbage, garlic, and lovely lettuces.
  • Azalia Farm Market had lots of pumpkins, winter squash, gourds, okra, sweet potatoes, and beans.
  • Watermelons were still available at Fields Farm Fresh as was corn, peppers, eggplant, and green beans.
  • Lee’s Orchard added Red Delicious and Stayman Winesap to their apple varieties.
  • Wild’s Apple Farm added Swiss Gourmet, Melrose, and Empire apples, plus Hot Cider.
  • Lick Ice Cream had Apple Cider Pepita ice cream on their menu.
  • Farm to Product had a new Asian Bowl and Tomato Fennel soup.
