It was a beautiful fall day and there were soooooo many wonderful new things at the Market. We were absolutely thrilled!

  • Romanesco was available at Norman Mullet Farm along with daikonblack radishes, fall rhubarb, broccoli, cauliflower, and garlic.
  • Annabelle’s Garden had Dutch flat cabbage, rainbow carrots, buttercup squash, delicatas, tomatillos, okra, and concord grapes.
  • Baby rutabagas were at Weathered Plow as well as Brussels sprouts, fingerling potatoes, okra, ground cherries, pumpkins, and sunflowers.
  • Full Hand Farm also had Brussels sprouts plus radicchio, celeriac, kohlrabi, chard, bok choy, celery, leeks, and lettuces.
  • Bok choy was also at Earthly Delights along with sweet potatoes, green beans, pumpkins, pumpkin mini-pies, and persimmon pudding.
  • Azalia Farm Market had pie pumpkins, white pumpkins, mini-pumpkins, and huge pumpkins, as well as gourds, sweet potatoes, winter squash, potatoes, watermelons, and okra.
  • Pumpkins were also available at Compean & Sons along with multi-colored cauliflower, yellow beans, peppers, tomatoes, ornamental corn, and 5 varieties of apples.
  • Fields Farm Fresh had lots of pepper varieties and still had corn, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, and cucumbers plus eggplant, lettuce, winter squash, and beets.
  • Golden, red, and ruby beets were all at Funny Bone Farm along with radishes, onions, cauliflower, broccoli, and 3 types of kale.
  • Wild’s Apple Farm had new Cameo, Braeburn, and Pink Lady varieties of apples this week. They also have Bosc and Asian pears.
  • It was the last week for Honey Crisp apples at Lee’s Orchard, but they will still have many other varieties, including Gold Rush through the rest of the season.
  • Shamrock Farm returned to the Market with shiitake, blue oyster, and a few Lion’s Mane mushrooms.
  • La Chinita Poblana had ginger orange mulled apple cider.
  • Farm to Product had new Squash & Apple, Roasted Poblano, and Moroccan Cold Cure soups.
  • Les Parisiennes had pumpkin bread, challah, brioche, and rye loaves.
  • Bettini Pasta had squid ink pasta.
  • Pots & Pans introduced two new pot piesVegan Rogue, and Harvest Pork.
  • Dickinson Woodworking had beautiful wood plates and cups with burn-etched birds on them.
  • Valentine Hill Farm had watermelon pickles, apple sauce, and Dutch applestoop.
  • New visiting vendor Reyes Flower Farm had lovely mixed flower bouquets.
