The fresh local food is well worth going to the Wednesday Market for; but this week we also had live music and Bent Rail tapped their newest craft beers!
Shoppers arriving via Winthrop or taking a detour off the Monon were treated to the very mellow sounds of Matt Martin, a local Broad Ripple resident whose music has been a hit at the Saturday Market in the past.
Another treat was the tapping of Bent Rail Brewery’s two newest brews, just in time for fall quaffing. Oktoberfest is an American Marzen-style beer; and a Wet Hop version of their Off the Rail Pale Ale. They also cooked up local bratwursts from Dewig Meats served with a new stone-ground mustard from BRFM vendor Batch No. 2, made with the Oktoberfest.
Along with the corn hole competitions and all the fresh fruits and vegetables plus artisan foods from our wonderful Wednesday Market vendors, a good time was definitely had by all!
