You may have noticed that some of the other local farmers markets have their last day this coming Saturday, and some will be done in mid- or late October. Not so the BRFM! We’ll be here through the Saturday right before Thanksgiving!
We will however, be changing our hours after this week. Due to sunrise coming later, we will be open from 9-noon in October and November. So if you show up at 8 a.m. you may beat the vendors there!
Most of our vendors are farmers and many of them have fall crops available right up to Thanksgiving and beyond. You’ll find things like winter squash, potatoes, kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, apples, Brussels sprouts, onions, carrots, turnips, and more!
You’ll also find meats, cheeses, eggs, honey, maple syrup, breads and pastries, and other artisan foods throughout the season. Hot ready-to-eat breakfast foods, beverages, prepared foods, live music, and even dog treats are at the Market through November 19th.
We’re not done yet! Plan to make the BRFM part of your Saturday morning routine for a couple more months – and then you can switch to the Broad Ripple WINTER Market starting in December!
