buzz-photos-for-9-10Just like that, fall is here. There were no peaches at the Market this past Saturday, but there were gorgeous gourds, dessert pears, bright pink sweet potatoes, marvelous mums, an increasing variety of apples, and the first Brussels sprouts of the season!

  • Lee’s Orchard had their amazing Magnus dessert pears along with plums and six types of apples!
  • Pears were also at Compean & Sons, Annabelle’s Garden, Nujac Garden, and Wild’s Apple Farm!

  • Sweet potatoes were available at Funny Bone Farm (that bright pink variety), Silverthorn Farm, and Earthly Delights!
  • Earthly Delights also had Brussels sprouts and so did Annabelle’s Garden!
  • Gourds and pumpkins and winter squashes made it really feel like fall at Azalia Farm Market!
  • Full Hand Farm had leeks, arugula, hot & sweet peppers, celeriac, chard, and green zebra tomatoes!
  • The marvelous mums in several different colors were available at Silverthorn Farm along with fennel, kohlrabi, and romaine lettuce!
