buzz-photos-8-6New items pop up every week and seasonal produce appears, runs its course and then is done until next year. We are in a particularly abundant period right now with most of the summer fruits and vegetables plentiful, but there is always something new!

  • Peppers, both sweet and hot, are everywhere right now. Marconi and poblano peppers were available at Earthly Delights!
  • Green peppers were at Norman Mullet Farm and Funny Bone Farm while yellow and orange bell peppers were at Full Hand Farm, Compean & Sons, and Silverthorn Farm!
  • Hot peppers also at Silverthorn, Full Hand, Fields Farm Fresh, Bloomer’s Greenhouse, and Wild’s Apple Farm!
  • Eggplant is abundant now too! Fields Farm Fresh had fairytale, Asian, and round pale varieties, while Earthly Delights had their Rosa Bianca!
  • Other globe and long eggplant varieties at Norman Mullet, Full Hand, Silverthorn, Compean & Sons, Apple Works, and Valentine Hill Farm!
  • Unusual zucchini varieties were available at Azalia Farm Market, Full Hand, and Fields Farm Fresh!
  • Funny Bone and Silverthorn Farms both had canning tomatoes!
  • Heirloom tomatoes were available from Compean & Sons, Full Hand Farm, and Silverthorn!
  • White peaches were at Nujac Garden and Azalia Farm Market!
  • JP Parker Flowers showed up with some mixed bouquets and other varieties of stems along with their usual sunflowers!
  • Cantaloupes and watermelons were everywhere too! Silverthorn and Azalia had yellow watermelons!
  • Blackberries, blueberries, and plums were at multiple vendors too!
  • Nujac Garden had their wonderful Asian pears, pluots, white patty pan squash, and long beans!
  • Apples are showing up at Wild’s Apple Farm (earligold, pristine, redfree, William’s pride), Lee’s Orchard (earliblaze), and Apple Works (zester, pristine, lodi, monark, and earligold)!
  • Apple Works also had sun-dried tomatoes!
  • Compean & Sons had jams, apple cinnamon syrup, and chipotle sauce!
  • Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood had new cedar grilling planks and papers!
