buzz-photos-8-13The rain was bordering on torrential when it came, but we “weathered” it well and there was plenty to see and buy and eat all over the Market! Those who braved the elements were rewarded and those who stayed at home missed some really good stuff!

  • Annabelle’s also had okra in purple and green varieties, colored cauliflower heads, wild mushrooms, and the first sweet potatoes!
  • Azalia Farm Market also had okra and lots of watermelons, cantaloupes, corn, and winter squash!
  • Peaches are still in season and available at Lee’s Orchard, Nujac Garden, Apple Works, and Compean & Sons!

  • Bloomer’s Greenhouse also had tomatoes, two types of fingerling potatoes, and baby kale
  • Apples are coming on with three varieties at Wild’s Apple Farm, Arkane apples at Lee’s Orchard, six varieties at Apple Works, and beautiful Asian pears at Nujac Garden!
