Fruits & Vegetables
Paul Yoder wanted a small, sustainable farm that would be a business his whole family could participate in. He and his wife Wilma felt that was important to their family values and the way they wanted to live and raise their children. That’s why they started Funny Bone Farm in Plymouth, Indiana in 2012.
On their land, they raise fresh edible vegetables with chemical-free growing practices that use microbial activity along with plant- or mineral- derived fertilizers. This makes for naturally healthy produce that tastes as good as it looks, and is more nutritious too!
If you have stopped by their booth at the Market, you will have seen their mountains of beautiful beets, carrots, tomatoes, onions, kale, and other vegetables. They are in their first season with the BRFM and have been very popular with customers for the superb quality of the food they sell. We like the humor in the name they chose for their farm too!
