Eskenazi Health is on time and on budget for completion of its new campus in December 2013. For Eskenazi Health, creating a healthier future for the people of our community means working beyond the walls of our hospital and health centers. Through support for art, healthy food, inspiring green spaces and a cleaner environment, Wishard today, and Eskenazi Health tomorrow, supports the complete health of our community.
With unique features, such as the one-of-a-kind sky farm on the roof top of the Outpatient Care Center; Eskenazi Health will be the first hospital campus in America to be certified LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver, a designation from the U.S. Green Building Council, affirming its sustainable design and construction. The sky farm will produce healthful food options for visitors, patients and staff at the Eskenazi Health Outpatient Care Center.
In addition to the advancements being made, Wishard-Eskenazi Health continues to provide support for the Slow Food Garden at White River State Park and other community initiatives. Stop by this Saturday’s Broad Ripple Farmers’ Market to learn more about the future of Wishard-Eskenazi Health!
